Virtual hosting is when your site shares a server with many other sites. Dedicated hosting is when you have the entire dedicated server to yourself. There are some great advantages and disadvantages to having a dedicated server. One of the biggest advantages to having a dedicated server is that you get the entire server to yourself so you don’t have to worry about other people’s sites slowing you down and you will get the entire hard drive and all the system resources to yourself.
