3. How to edit your account settings on LinkedIn

Your account settings in LinkedIn include your e-mail address, e-mail preferences, password, group settings and much more.

After you have logged in, hover the cursor over your name. Then click Settings.

At the top of the page, you can change your e-mail address, password and account type.

At the bottom, there are four tabs each with separate settings. On Profile, you can adjust the privacy controls for your account.

Go to Email Preferences. Select this link to change the frequency of e-mails.

For each type of e-mail, choose if you want to receive individual e-mails, a weekly digest, or no e-mails.

Click Save Settings.

Edit this setting to select who can send you invitations.

Click Groups, Companies & Applications.

These settings allow you to manage group preferences, whether you want to receive invitations to groups, view companies and applications, and more.

The last tab is Account. Here, we can see settings for advertising, photo visibility, and more.

That’s it! Now you know how to edit your account settings on LinkedIn.
